Guided Meditation & Mindfulness

A time of guided mindfulness meditation will be offered every Sunday morning during the month of June. Mindfulness is focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations without judgement. Emotionally, it can help to quiet your mind and reduce anxiety and depression. Spiritually, it can help you recognize and accept your sin and weakness so that you can seek healing and transformation from God rather than your own efforts to do better. Led by Dr. Julie Reinhold, there will be brief instruction followed by a guided meditation focused on your breath or other senses and then a time of meditating on Scripture.
